Our primary shredders are equipped with a diesel-hydraulic drive and Caterpillar engines or with an electric-hydraulic drive. The speed control of the shafts works in three steps and depends on the load.
Customers can choose from a variation of different shaft configurations to individually adapt their HAMMEL-shredder to their special shredding needs.
We provide the right shaft for each material and end product requirement. Throughput and product end size depend on the different types of shafts. Generally, a final product size of approx. 150 mm – 400 mm can be achieved.
